With a back story that is both tragic and fascinating, Smoke is easily one of the most different characters in all of Mortal Kombat and his tale continues on behind the scenes. We start off today’s Top 10 with the much beloved four-armed giant Goro who has been part of the Mortal Kombat franchise since his introduction to the franchise in the original title as a sub-boss.For a game that is all about fighting ninjas, there seems to be a lack of them in Mortal Kombat 11 with Sub-Zero and Scorpion being the only true hidden warriors in the game. 9 – SmokeWithout any further delay, here are our 10 picks for returning characters we want to see in Mortal Kombat 11. Seeing him resurrected or brought back to form would make Goro a welcomed addition to the roster to go along-side with Sheeva who seems to also be making an appearance as DLC as well. Now, Goro has become a fan favorite with his constant appearances throughout each entry, but the only time we see him in MK11 is part of his stage “Goro’s Lair”, where a skeleton version of himself lays upon a broken throne which for us, seems unbefitting to a character that has been part of the franchise for so long.
For him, however, his fate was sealed when he was returned as a cybernetic warrior and he had to relive this horrific moment once more in MK11, up until his sacrifice to help the Earthrealmers against Kronika’s cause. 2nd: Lag Kombat is back depending.Cyrax is another tragic character that fell only to be brought back to life. 8 – CyraxI have also heard rumors that there are other characters on the game like Rain you will probably see as a DLC down the road.

He has been a formidable foe up until this point and since Elder God’s cannot be killed off, we are certain we will see him return in some way sooner rather than later and hopefully the next time he makes an appearance it isn’t just a severed head on a wall mount and that he will be a kombatant with arms and legs to boot. The evil Elder God has caused so much destruction in his wake and was the mastermind behind the events that take place in Mortal Kombat (2011) up until this point in MK11. 6 – ShinnokMuch of the story thus far revolves around Shinnok and we get the feeling that it is far from over. Truly a unique character, Ermac would be a welcomed addition to the Mortal Kombat roster and the last that we have known is that he is still hiding in Outworld biding his time until he can resurface and cause more destruction against his foes. His last appearance had him more of a sorcerer of sorts and use the dark arts that made him against his foes. 7 – ErmacErmac was introduced as the Red-Clad ninja in the original entries of Mortal Kombat but has had his appearance change time and time again from one entry to the next.

This villain has caused much havoc as he was able to resurrect most of the Earthrealm’s mightiest warriors and his impact on current day events are still felt, even after his death in Mortal Kombat X. Although he may be dead at this present time, there is no denying how great it would be to see the evil sorcerer make a return and cause even greater destruction in the newest instalment to the fighting game franchise and even going above and beyond by adding a new plot to go along to MK11 could make this villain an even bigger threat. That takes care of yet another weekly Top 10, but we want to hear from all of you as to which past Mortal Kombat kombatants that you would like to see a return in MK11? Do you agree that Quan Chi should be the next in line or do you feel somebody else should take his place as the next DLC character? Let us know what you think in the comment section below and stay tuned for more news on Mortal Kombat 11 and its DLC characters and all other things gaming right here at Link-Cable. There is also the fact that she has been part of the cast since the days of MKII and has been a staple to the franchise since then, and not seeing her part of the roster selection at this point doesn’t seem right.Quan Chi was a real menace throughout the series and was a major threat in the most recent entries starting from the new storyline in Mortal Kombat (2011). From her signature and grotesque appearance and her ne’er-do-well personality makes her a fan favorite and a sure-fire pick to be added to the Mortal Kombat 11 DLC roster. 2 – MileenaMileena’s death at the hands of D’vorah in Mortal Kombat X was an extremely gruesome one, even for Mortal Kombat standards, but there is no denying the fact that she should be part of the cast of MK11. He is a bit of a forgotten character in MK11, hiding in the Kript, but seeing him have a full new model and running about has us hopeful that we will see our favorite lizard ninja man sometime in the near future with new attacks and fatalities to go along with his scally appearance. Since that time, he has been a playable character in almost every other instalment and or has taken part as a cameo, making his presence known in every game.
